John is a highly regarded, results-oriented engineer with
over 29 years of extensive experience in a variety of
areas: project management (15 years), external
consulting (4 years), pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food
and chemicals manufacturing and packaging (12 years),
distribution and warehousing (10 years), materials
handling automation (10 years), and continuous process
improvement (CPI) (18 years), Lean Six Sigma techniques
(5 years), and cGMPs (10 years). His experience
includes a variety of positions (Manager of Industrial
Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics, Process
Improvement Manager, Project Engineer, and Consultant)
with organizations ranging in size from small businesses
to Fortune 500 (Revlon, E.J. Gallo Winery, Inc., Perrigo
Pharmaceutical).
John is a resourceful problem solver that utilizes a range
of continuous process improvement (CPI) tools to reduce
waste, eliminate steps that don’t add value, minimize
process variations, reduce bottlenecks and identify high
cost problem equipment.
His education includes both a Bachelor of Science
(Industrial Engineering) and a Masters of Science
(Management Engineering) from the New Jersey Institute
of Technology – Newark (University Heights District), NJ.
He is also Six Sigma (Green Belt) certified. He and his
wife currently reside in the Wilmington, NC area.
