Turn-Around, Paradigm Management and Transformation are three distinct,
but closely related disciplines.
Broadly speaking, they involve corrective (turn-around) action, vision
(paradigm management) or even better, the acumen & courage to exploit that
paradigm threat to your advantage, and a change in model, form, generation,
etc. (transformation).
All are simultaneously opportunities and threats.
Our model uses:
1) Internal strategies (Kaizen, Lean, 6σ, value stream -- other tools/tactics
as required) to improve process, thru-put and service operations that increase
gross margin
2) Accounting, financial and cost strategies to correlate project / line and
product contribution, business breakeven, cash flow and ratio analysis/action
to improve EBITDA
3) External strategies for business development to increase net margin
These three strategies employed in sequence or concurrently (as value added
/ priority analysis dictates) have never failed to produce significant Total
Business Improvement.
