Jerry is a business professional with more than twenty-five years of diverse
experience in a variety of functional disciplines including: Management,
Consulting, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.  His
management background consists of positions with Liberty Mutual
Insurance, Best Buy, Inc. and Nike, Inc.

In addition, he has been a business consultant with the Small Business
Association and George S May International: specializing in issues related
to the operation of small to medium size organizations.

Jerry has also been a Business Banker with BB&T, functioning as a commercial lender, as
well as providing all financial service needs for small business.  Jerry has led many initiatives
that have significantly improved operations, financial equity positions, cash flow, marketing;
staff training and development and customer service, as well as strategic planning.  Jerry has
also been involved with non-profit organizations providing support as well as consulting and
management expertise.  He is involved locally with Action Greensboro and a member of the
East Market Street Development Corporation Marketing Committee.  Jerry has also been a
lecturer regarding entrepreneurial leadership and new business startups.

Jerry’s educational background includes a Masters of Business Administration from the
University of South Carolina – Columbia, SC; a Bachelors of Science from the University of
New Hampshire, Durham, NH; as well as the completion of extensive Accounting Course work
at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC
