Archie Johnson has more than 25 years experience in the
accounting field. He has worked for a variety of companies from
privately held “start-up” companies like Global DBMM to publicly
traded multinational companies like R. J. Reynolds Tobacco and
Sara Lee.
Archie has experience in a wide variety of industries including
commercial photography, tobacco, telecommunications, health
care, customer service, foods, textiles, construction,
pharmaceuticals, and banking. In addition to an accounting and
budgeting background, he worked as a financial analyst for R. J.
Reynolds Tobacco on the team that cost justified a European
data network. In the position of network planner for Sprint
Communications, he prepared competitive analyses, financial
analysis justifications, and written network change
recommendations, which he presented to the Board of
Directors. As a supply chain planner, Archie planned new
product introductions of women’s intimate apparel, prepared
monthly production plans, and negotiated international
production capacity with off-shore facilities.
Archie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
from Guilford College and completed the Master’s program in
Business & Economics at Appalachian State University.
